We are pleased and proud to announce that the academic and social significance of holding the International Congress of Entomology (ICE2024Kyoto) in Japan has been widely recognized. The event will be co-hosted with the Science Council of Japan and will be held as an official national event. Therefore, the opening ceremony will be a prestigious event attended by Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince and Crown Princess Akishino, a Minister of State, the Governor of Kyoto Prefecture, and the Mayor of Kyoto City.

Due to these circumstances, it is necessary to conduct strict security checks for participants attending the opening ceremony. You are required to bring a government-issued photo ID and adhere to the rules regarding prohibited items. Please read the details below carefully and cooperate accordingly.
