For Organizers, Symposium Chairs

• Time for an oral presentation is 15 minutes including discussion.
  *Some presentations will be 30 minutes including discussion. Please see Confit for more details.
• The venue is equipped with countdown timer, and we hope that you will use it to keep up with the progress of the event. The color of the timer light is green at the beginning.It turns to yellow at the point of 5 minutes before the end of the presentation time. And it shows red when time is up.

  

• Please arrive at the session venue 15 minutes before your assigned session begins.
• To ensure that the presentation proceeds smoothly within the limited time frame, the chairpersons will be asked to ensure that presenters adhere to the 15-minute presentation time frame.
• The chairpersons will be asked to call the next presenter’s name.
• Given the limited timeframe, the chairpersons will be asked to briefly give the start and end cues for the session.
  ▶ (ex.) Start: “The session will start shortly. Please be seated at the speaker’s seat when it is your turn to present.”
  ▶ (ex.) End: “This concludes all presentations”.
• In the case of accidental cancellations by speakers, organizers and symposium chairs can use empty slots time for a general discussion, a mini-break to adjust the program delay, and so on, but NOT CHANGE THE TIME OF OTHER PRESENTATIONS. To allow the audience to move efficiently between multiple symposia, please ensure that all lectures start on time at any given venue.
